- ➤ Bryan City Council approved an extra $361,596 in equipment upgrades for Midtown Park’s signature playground, adding a train caboose climber, cool topper, expanded shade + additional tables, benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, and grills. The project, partly funded by a $2 million grant, will complete in April. WTAW

- ➤ On Jan. 12, Bryan ISD board updated its bilingual services (presentation materials were available), and on Jan. 20, Blinn College trustees introduced a new vice chancellor and approved a $25,000 grant to upgrade esports equipment at the RELLIS campus. WTAW
