- ➤ BCS Library System Director Bea Saba appeared on WTAW on Thursday, Jan. 22 to discuss the upcoming 2026 Author Series that will bring 11 authors to Bryan–College Station libraries with Jenny Lawson opening the series. The series will run throughout 2026 to enhance local literary programs. WTAW

- ➤ The CSISD board selected a contractor for the $31M central administration office project after voters passed the bond last November. The board will review a guaranteed maximum price in August & decide whether to proceed with the construction. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M will hold its first student civil discourse symposium on Muster day, April 21. The event features keynote speakers, fireside chats and breakout sessions as part of a new citizenship program with cost estimates from $400,000 to $800,000, officials said. WTAW
- ➤ Three former Texas A&M students returned on Thursday for an MLK Breakfast panel to share their experiences in activism and explain what it takes to be an activist today. They spoke at the event to highlight the challenges and rewards of civic engagement. The Eagle
