- ➤ Brazos Transit CEO Wendy Weedon (18 years with the district) was honored Tuesday, Feb. 3 at the Bush Library and Museum with the Four Chaplains Memorial Foundation’s humanitarian award for her work supporting veterans and safe travel services in the region. WTAW

- ➤ Texas A&M men's basketball dropped a 100-97 game against Alabama on Wednesday at Coleman Coliseum after a missed buzzer three-pointer (Rylan Griffen's attempt). The Aggies will host No. 17 Florida at Reed Arena Saturday at 7:30 p.m. WTAW
- ➤ Two Texas A&M baseball players were named to Baseball America preseason award watchlists, with junior infielder Chris Hacopian and freshman Nico Partida earning spots on the national lists — the Aggies begin the season Friday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M track & field athletes Ja’Qualon Scott and Peter Narumbe earned SEC awards for standout wins at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational, and the team will host the Charlie Thomas Invitational tomorrow, Feb. 6-7 at the R.A. + Murray Fasken ’38 Indoor Track & Field facility. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M baseball will play nine nationally televised games this season, including four home contests at Olsen Field starting Sunday, Mar. 22 at 3 p.m. and key road matchups against LSU, Texas, and Auburn; the games will air on SEC Network, ESPN2, and ESPN. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M’s women’s golf team finished third at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club on Tuesday. The team will compete next at the Moon Golf Invitational at Suntree Country Club Feb. 15 to 17. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M Athletics announced Tuesday that four Aggie baseball players have been named Preseason All-Americans by Baseball America. Third baseman Gavin Grahovac and outfielder Caden Sorrell earned second team honors while shortstop Chris Hacopian and pitcher Shane Sdao received third team distinctions, marking a record tying selection for the program. - ➤ The No. 25 Aggie baseball team is hosting a free open scrimmage at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park on Saturday, Feb. 7 — gates open at noon with first pitch at 1 p.m. — and will sign autographs during the men’s basketball game at Reed Arena from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M's golfer Aaron Pounds (7-under 135) tied for first on Tuesday at Atlantic Beach Country Club after 36 holes, helping his team finish third in the Sea Best Invitational. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M golfer Aaron Pounds earned SEC Golfer of the Week recognition Wednesday after tying for first at the Sea Best Invitational & winning the 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational. He shot 6-under 65 on Tuesday and reached a career-high ranking of 20. WTAW
