College Station ISD has extended the out-of-district transfer student application period beyond next week because many families remain unaware of enrollment options at Creek View elementary and Cypress Grove intermediate.

Superintendent Tim Harkrider said Tuesday that 15 applications were received and recruitment will ramp up in May and June.

Chillennium, the largest student-run collegiate game jam, will take place at Texas A&M University’s Hildebrand Equine Center this weekend from Friday to Sunday, giving students a unique chance to work together on game design.
