- ➤ A Bryan high school freshman is fundraising for an Eagle Scout project that will include a statue of his godfather to honor a fallen officer outside the police department; he will host a pancake dinner (Tuesday, Apr. 21) at the Bryan American Legion to support the project. WTAW

- ➤ Bryan’s museum hosts an exhibit on the Shroud of Turin that invites visitors to explore its history, mystery and religious significance. The exhibit is open now for locals to learn about one of history’s enduring religious artifacts. The Eagle

- ➤ The state announced that the new Texas Advanced Nuclear Energy Office is accepting applications for part of $350M to support advanced nuclear projects and industry research. The city joined the Texas Nuclear Alliance to foster safe energy and job growth while Texas A&M plans to apply for grant funding + boost tech development. WTAW

- ➤ Cadets from Company A-2 cleaned the Aggie Ring outside the Association of Former Students last Friday to prepare it for Ring Day scheduled for next week. The Eagle
- ➤ Two Aggies are set to be honored at Silver Taps at Academic Plaza on Tuesday at 10:20 p.m., where an honor guard from Ross Volunteer Company will march and fire three rifle volleys before bugle players perform Taps. My Aggie Nation

- ➤ Texas A&M men’s tennis team beat the Auburn Tigers 4-3 at the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Thursday with freshman Markus Molder clinching his second win and junior Lathan Skrobarcek posting a strong singles result. The team will face Alabama on Saturday at 1 p.m. WTAW
- ➤ Aggie baseball outfielder Caden Sorrell was named to the Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List as announced on Thursday by USA Baseball—he posted a .387 average with 14 home runs in 26 starts and is one of 45 players on the list. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M’s women’s tennis team rallied past Auburn 4-3 on Thursday at the Mitchell Tennis Center as freshman Anna Perelman clinched the win and head coach Mark Weaver reached his 250th career victory — the Aggies will face No. 16 Florida at 12 p.m. Saturday. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M baseball lost Thursday night's series opener to Vanderbilt 14-8 at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The Aggies hit five home runs (two each by Caden Sorrell and Bear Harrison) but could not overcome Vanderbilt's offense and will play a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Friday on SEC Network. WTAW
- ➤ Aggie Softball won 3-2 over Georgia on Thursday night (at Davis Diamond) when Madi Sauni’s RBI single drove in the winning run. A doubleheader is set to begin today at 4 p.m. after inclement weather postponed the next game. WTAW
