- ➤ Texas A&M’s long-serving OPAS executive director Anne Black will retire this August after 41 years and will continue advising the team until then. The university will announce the new season lineup on April 22. WTAW

- ➤ Texas A&M University held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning for its new Detonation Research Test Facility at the RELLIS campus — a milestone that begins enhanced local research efforts. The Eagle
- ➤ Twenty-five members of Texas A&M’s equestrian team—competing under strict academic guidelines—earned APHA All-Academic honors on Wednesday as announced by the NCEA, with additional riders recognized on the academic honor roll for meeting GPA and competition requirements at the university. WTAW

- ➤ Texas A&M softball outslugged McNeese 11-1 in five innings on Wednesday night at Davis Diamond. Star player Kelsey Mathis drove extra-base hits as the team will face Ole Miss in a three-game series starting Friday at 5 p.m. WTAW

- ➤ Texas A&M’s Randy Bond, EJ Smith and Jared Zirkel were named to the 2026 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for their strong academic and athletic performance, reported by Texas A&M Athletics.
