- ➤ Texas A&M recognized 65 student-athletes on the Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll Wednesday as they balance sports with studies; 30 equestrian picks led winter sports, with (2 earning a master’s and 63 working toward a bachelor’s), officials said. WTAW

- ➤ The Texas A&M track & field team will travel to the Tom Jones Memorial at the James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track on Friday, Apr. 17 and Saturday, Apr. 18. The team, which captured 21 event titles during a recent home meet, continues rising in national rankings. WTAW
- ➤ The No. 2 seed Texas A&M equestrian team will face the No. 7 seed TCU in the NCEA quarterfinals today at 1:30 p.m. at the World Equestrian Center; a win will send the Aggies to a semifinal round on Friday at 8:00 a.m. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M diver Emilio Trevino was named SEC Freshman Diver of the Year after winning the NCAA platform title with a season-best score of 465.30. The Mexican-born athlete credited his coaches, teammates, and family for his historic achievement. WTAW
