  • Keep Brazos Beautiful is hosting an Arbor Day memorial tree dedication and planting event at Sue Haswell Park in Bryan Saturday morning. The nonprofit will plant trees to honor the occasion.  The Eagle
  • Friends of the Library will host its annual spring book sale April 24–26 at Clara B. Mounce Public Library, where locals can browse books and support the library.  The Eagle

  • American Momentum Bank has named Robert ‘Bo’ Scott as its new president and CEO — he succeeds James Wolfe, who remains on the board. Scott, whose career began in 2000, said he looks forward to serving the community while making College Station his home.  WTAW
  • Bryan manufacturer American Lumber received more time to complete its economic development agreement as the city council unanimously approved an extension at its April 20 meeting; the company exceeded expectations with property values rising to $14.9 million, jobs increasing from 12 to 31, and wages growing to $82,000+ per person.  WTAW

  • Aggies gathered at Reed Arena on Tuesday night for the annual Muster, where names of fallen Aggies from the past year were read and families answered 'here' to honor their memory. The event continues a cherished tradition that brings the community together.  The Eagle

  • Eight Texas A&M College of Education and Human Development students will gain real-world experience at NFL draft preparations this week (as part of their hands-on learning program).  The Eagle

  • The No. 30 Texas A&M Aggies are competing for the SEC Men's Golf Championship at Sea Island Golf Club from today through Sunday. They tee off at 8:15 a.m. in a group with Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma as they try for their first title after three near wins.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M’s tennis player Kholo Montsi was named to the SEC All-Tournament Team after he won three singles matches in a tough championship run — a proud moment for his team.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M’s Lucciana Perez earned a spot on the SEC Women’s Tennis Championship All-Tournament Team after top wins in singles and doubles led her team to the semifinals. She posted a strong season with a 5-1 SEC record.  WTAW
  • No. 7 Texas A&M baseball returned to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park for a midweek contest against UTSA Tuesday at 3 p.m.—local fans watched on SEC Network or tuned in to 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M women’s golf team lost a close 3-2 semifinal match against Tennessee at Pelican Golf Club Monday after a 3-2 quarterfinal win over Texas. The Aggies will learn their regional assignment on Wednesday, Apr. 29 at 4 p.m. on Golf Channel.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M Athletics announced Monday that SEC transfer Cade Phillips will join the men's basketball roster for the 2026-27 season after three seasons at Tennessee. The 6-9 forward's addition follows standout play that included 33 blocks and key scoring efforts to strengthen the lineup.  WTAW
