- ➤ Bryan police investigated a crash that killed motorcyclist Colby Fisher of Brookshire on April 22 and continue to look into the incident. At the Bryan ISD board meeting on April 21, the board unanimously approved Dr. Gregory Bowhuis from Magnolia ISD as the new principal of Bryan High School — he replaces retiring principal Lane Buban. - ➤ The Texas A&M Board of Regents named Robert L. Albritton as its new chairman after Tuesday’s meeting and approved the purchase of 867.67 acres adjacent to RELLIS campus along Goodson Bend Road— a decision aimed at supporting future campus growth. My Aggie Nation
- ➤ Gregory Bowhuis was named the new principal of Bryan High School on Monday by the Bryan ISD Board of Trustees, and he will lead the school as the academic year approaches. The Eagle
- ➤ The Texas A&M Board of Regents named Robert L. Albritton as its new chairman — it also approved purchasing land next to the RELLIS campus. The Eagle
- ➤ The Bryan ISD board approved Dr. Gregory Bowhuis (pronounced BO-HICE) as the new principal of Bryan High School at its April 21 meeting, replacing retiring principal Lane Buban who served for 12 years. Dr. Bowhuis brings years of experience from Magnolia West and looks forward to supporting the school's academic and extracurricular programs. WTAW

- ➤ At Tuesday's Brazos County commission meeting, five jail inmates were honored for quickly helping a detention officer during a life threatening emergency—commissioner Chuck Konderla said sheriff Wayne Dicky and chief deputy Kevin Stuart presented the Sheriff’s Appreciation Award to Carlos Rodriguez, Ricky Karm, Jesus Delgado, Richard Rodriguez, and Jordan Muhammad. - ➤ At the Brazos County Commission meeting on April 15th, commissioner Fred Brown questioned a request to raise an I-T employee's credit card limit from $5,000 to $10,000 and made a joke about his own household spending. Chief information officer Eric Caldwell explained that the higher limit was needed for regular expenses so employees would not have to use the county purchasing office card. WTAW
