Welsh approved nine recommendations from a committee that assessed the Corps of Cadets and set a new enrollment target of 2,550 cadets based on the Quad’s capacity— the university will work with the commandant and cadet leaders to implement the changes with key decisions by May 15 and a strategic direction set by September 1. - ➤ Texas A&M's Aleksandr Solovev vaulted 5.61m at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight event in Houston on Saturday to climb to No. 4 in the school's pole vault history while Aggies Leo Bowen & Jack Mann III rounded out the men's podium. In the women's event, Heather Abadie cleared 3.96m to win her third pole vault title & add to the Aggies' strong field showing. WTAW
