  • Texas A&M President Mark A. Welsh approved nine recommendations from a committee that assessed the Corps of Cadets and set a new enrollment target of 2,550 cadets based on the Quad’s capacity— the university will work with the commandant and cadet leaders to implement the changes with key decisions by May 15 and a strategic direction set by September 1.  The Eagle

  • Texas A&M All-American Emiley Kennedy pitched a shutout that beat No. 9 Arkansas 2-0 on Sunday at Davis Diamond — snapping the team's three-game SEC losing streak as she struck out five with only four hits. The Aggies will travel to face No. 1 Tennessee in a three-game set beginning Thursday at 5 p.m. — setting up their next challenge.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M's Aleksandr Solovev vaulted 5.61m at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight event in Houston on Saturday to climb to No. 4 in the school's pole vault history while Aggies Leo Bowen & Jack Mann III rounded out the men's podium. In the women's event, Heather Abadie cleared 3.96m to win her third pole vault title & add to the Aggies' strong field showing.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M baseball dropped a 6 to 5 loss to No. 1 Texas Sunday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin—Caden Sorrell scored early but a late Texas run sealed the win—The Aggies will face Lamar Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.  WTAW
  • The Texas A&M Aggies finished second at the SEC Men’s Golf Championship on Sunday at Sea Island Golf Club after losing 4—1 to the Florida Gators. The team advanced from the semifinals but Florida built an early lead and Texas A&M awaits its NCAA Regional assignment on Wednesday at 12 p.m. on GOLF Channel.  WTAW
