  • College Station Mayor John Nichols appeared on The Infomaniacs April 29 to discuss the upcoming Savannah Bananas game at Kyle Field, while on April 28 Texas A&M interim president Tommy Williams briefed regents on fiscal 2027 proposals that include capital projects and staff pay increases.  WTAW

  • Five former Aggies signed with NFL teams this week—defensive back Tyreek Chappell and linebacker Scooby Williams agreed to terms with the Vikings, running back Le’Veon Moss with the Dolphins, EJ Smith with the Chiefs, and Taurean York with the Broncos; long snapper Jacob Graham was invited to rookie mini camp with the Cowboys and Texans.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Joni Taylor and UCLA coach Cori Close will host a VIP cocktail at 6 p.m. plus a Beyond Basketball experience and auction at 7 p.m. on May 6 at the Stella Hotel to fund NIL opportunities for the program.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M’s Vanessa Borovilos was named to the ANNIKA Award Postseason Watch List by Texas A&M Athletics on Wednesday, joining 14 golfers after finishing in the top 10 in eight tournaments this season. The Aggie is ranked No. 22 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M baseball won 9-7 over Tarleton State at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park Tuesday evening, with Caden Sorrell hitting two home runs to spur a late rally that helped pitchers Juan Vargas, Grant Cunningham, and Clayton Freshcorn secure the win.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M volleyball has unveiled its 2026 schedule featuring non-conference tournaments and SEC games — the team starts at the AVCA First Serve event in Milwaukee on Aug. 21 and then hosts matches in Aggieland as conference play begins on Sep. 27.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M men's basketball added transfer Jalen Reece to its 2026-27 roster on Tuesday. Reece (6-foot guard) played 32 LSU games (averaging 7.1 points and 4.7 assists) as he boosts the team's lineup.  WTAW
