  • A protest will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside The 101—located at 101 S. Texas Ave. in Bryan.  The Eagle

CRIME NEWS

  • Brazos County commissioners approved new voting precincts on April 29 after accepting recommendations from elections administrator Trudy Hancock. Bryan police also arrested multiple suspects in separate incidents—including youths involved in a stolen SUV near Neal elementary on April 26 and an adult with an invalid license on April 28—with several posting bonds and one remaining in jail.  WTAW

  • Alex Miller from The Eagle won the top state award for deadline writing at the Texas Managing Editor's annual conference in San Antonio. His win among Class 1A newspapers shows his strong skill in meeting tight deadlines.  The Eagle

  • Texas A&M men's golf team will head to Alabama for the Auburn Regional in the NCAA Tournament from May 12 to May 14. The Aggies are seeded No. 2 among 13 teams on a 7,326-yard, par-72 course — a key detail as they aim to secure a top-five spot to advance to the national championship from May 23 to May 28.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M's No. 4 softball team wraps up its season today at 5 p.m. at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium with a three-game series against No. 2 Tennessee — the team will face Tennessee again on Friday at 5 p.m. and on Sunday at 3 p.m., with games airing on SEC Network and its streaming service.  WTAW
  • Texas A&M baseball team beat Lamar 13 to 6 on Tuesday night at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park as Ben Royo and Caden Sorrell hit key home runs to boost the team's win column using Texas A&M's signature style & local pride.
