- ➤ The Savannah Bananas are set to host a record-breaking Banana Ball at Kyle Field this weekend in College Station. More than 100,000 fans are expected to enjoy pop-up games, concerts, and festivities at a vibrant community event. The Eagle
- ➤ The Brazos County Historical Commission is promoting local events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The commission is accepting entries on the museum website and asking local churches and campuses to plan 1:00 p.m. bell ringings on July fourth. WTAW
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Texas A&M's Citizenship and Service Initiative, led by Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Kim Field, began in fall 2024 and has engaged over 4,000 students with the Aggie Lyceum and a civil symposium; it will add a bi-weekly podcast and more events this fall. My Aggie Nation
