- ➤ Brazos County commissioners changed the tax breaks for the owner building a second data center on the RELLIS campus — county and Bryan police arrested individuals between May 2 and May 4 for theft, DWI, driving with an invalid license, and soliciting prostitution during severe thunderstorms. - ➤ Texas A&M AgriLife opened its new 27,000 sq. ft. Animal Reproductive Biotechnology Center on Tuesday at the RELLIS campus in Bryan despite rainy weather. The $13 million facility will boost cattle reproduction research with indoor labs and outdoor areas—built for studying livestock and teaching students. The Eagle
- ➤ Texas A&M Athletics achieved a record-tying multi-year Academic Progress Rate of 987 as four programs—men’s and women’s cross country, women’s golf and volleyball—posted perfect ratings from 2020-21 to 2023-24. - ➤ At Monday's Bryan ISD school board meeting, the board approved Jessica Pany as the new principal at Mitchell Elementary and fired a probationary teacher whose dismissal reason was not explained.
