- ➤ Bryan City Council received the annual report from Destination Bryan Tourism Office, where executive director John Friebele noted the agency's upcoming fifth anniversary and its oversight of 18 events—highlighting a focus on local tourism. The Brazos Valley Family Expo will be held on Saturday, June 14 at The Brazos Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—offering more than 60 booths, a kids' play area, free admission, interactive performances, free face painting, and food trucks. - ➤ Brazos County commissioners are continuing negotiations with two companies over issues with the juvenile detention center expansion that began in 2018 — they have taken formal steps by extending a tolling agreement to address the project challenges. WTAW
