- ➤ On June 17, authorities sentenced 35-year-old Andrew Gutierrez to 25 years in prison for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he attacked an 11-week pregnant victim in January — he used a 10-inch kitchen knife and his previous conviction in 2016 factored into the sentence — and he must serve half his term before he can be eligible for parole. WTAW
- ➤ A Bryan man was arrested for DWI after crashing his car in Northgate Parking Garage Sunday after bars closed and another man, Andrew Gutierrez, was sentenced to 25 years on June 17 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a January domestic violence call in which an 11-week pregnant victim was severely beaten and threatened with a 10-inch knife.
