- ➤ Brazos County commissioners approved $11 million in repairs and upgrades at the expo complex on Leonard Road on July 15. The $10 million construction contract will replace roofs, floors, lighting and parking lot areas plus an $850,000 architect’s contract and a $198,000 commissioning agreement were also approved. WTAW
- ➤ The College Station ISD School Board is set to adopt a state-mandated cell phone ban for students to comply with new state law. At its July 10 meeting, the College Station city council received funding requests from 10 outside agencies as part of its yearly budget process—officials will consider these proposals in upcoming decisions.
