- ➤ The Texas A&M System Board of Regents unanimously approved a plan to meet a new state law by ending independent faculty senates and councils with three days to spare. Texas A&M and local groups will host suicide prevention events including a free documentary screening at Bush Library on Sept. 18 that will feature an expert panel discussing online safety and mental health.
