- ➤ The College Station ISD board unanimously approved new elementary school boundaries on Sept. 16th after an extensive review and community input, and the changes will take effect in the 2026-27 school year. A grandfathering provision lets K-3 students stay at their current campuses—parents have 30 days to decide. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M University announced that President Mark Welsh will step down effective today at 5 p.m.—his resignation follows criticism over personnel decisions. The Board of Regents will begin a national search for his permanent replacement to secure the university's future. WTAW

- ➤ Bryan City Council voted in a special meeting Tuesday to annex almost 163 acres of land across Highway 21 from the RELLIS Campus—this step may allow a future data center to be built. The Eagle
