Good morning, Bryan.

Sutton Turner continues the Century Tree Project started by late Andy Duffie by growing and selling Texas A&M's Century Tree seedlings to raise funds for scholarships—he built a greenhouse, refined his technique with guidance from RootMaker, and raised 200 trees last year.

Turner will hold two annual sales, one the weekend of Oct. 31-Nov. 1 and another on April 10, as part of his nonprofit Aggie Century Tree effort.

Texas A&M’s Century Tree fundraiser continues a tradition that began in 2008 when Andy Duffie first sold acorn seedlings to raise scholarship funds.

Sutton Turner now runs the nonprofit Aggie Century Tree collecting thousands of acorns and planning annual sales—first on the weekend of Oct. 31-Nov. 1 then on April 10—to support student awards.
