- ➤ Former State Rep. John Raney was named Citizen of the Year by the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce — he will be honored at the annual banquet. The Eagle
- ➤ The B/CS MPO board approved delays for two TxDOT projects in Brazos County — the interchange at Wellborn Road and George Bush Drive will begin construction in July rather than December. The Texas Avenue project in Bryan will resume work in April after delays for extra traffic signals and utility adjustments — additional work that pushed back planning. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M AgriLife and the NNSA are teaming up to fight New World screwworm by using eBeam technology to produce sterile flies that will stop the pest’s reproduction and protect U.S. food security. The collaboration will expand with other academic institutions — aiming to find safer alternatives to high-radioactivity cobalt-60 methods. My Aggie Nation

- ➤ Texas A&M's KC Concepcion was named to the Hispanic College Football Player of the Year Watch List after proving his skill on the field this season. The junior, who ranks 24th nationally with 85 receiving yards per game and leads his team, will play at Kyle Field on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT — a notable honor among the 15 standout athletes. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M’s Mario Craver was added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list on Tuesday because he leads the SEC in receiving yards per game — he had 24 catches for 477 yards and four touchdowns so far. He also recorded three 100-yard games including a 207-yard game in the road win at Notre. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M freshman Shiv Parmar finished eighth at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday after shooting a 1-under 69 in his third round at Colonial Country Club in Selma—he came two strokes short of joining the five-player playoff that decided the winner. WTAW
