- ➤ On Saturday morning, Evelyn Rhodes—an A&M 1991 graduate—received her long-awaited Aggie ring along with her daughter Edythe Waiwaiole at The Association of Former Students when her Texas Longhorn father, John Nelson, presented the ring after 34 years since graduation. My Aggie Nation
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Texas A&M won 45-42 over Arkansas and improved its record to 7-0—its first unbeaten start since 1994. Redshirt sophomore Marcel Reed threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns while Rueben Owens II rushed for 69 yards and two scores, and the win marked the 13th over Arkansas since joining the SEC. WTAW
- ➤ On Friday, Texas A&M swimming and diving teams beat the TCU Horned Frogs in their home opener at the Student Recreation Natatorium – the women won 221-74 and the men 198-98 with each team taking 14 wins in 32 events. The teams also swept relay races and captured the top three spots in 10 races to set a strong start to the season. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M volleyball beat Oklahoma 3-0 Friday at Reed Arena with set scores of 26-24, 25-21, and 25-20. The No. 10 team improved to a 14-3 record—using strong service and blocks to secure their second straight sweep. WTAW
