- ➤ Bryan Mayor Bobby Gutierrez said on Tuesday in a radio interview that a Waffle House—an iconic diner chain—might open in Bryan-College Station soon. He indicated that the restaurant could offer new dining choices if plans move forward. The Eagle

- ➤ Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion was named to the Jet Award Midseason Watch List — he returned 11 punts for 177 yards, including an 80‐yard touchdown, and caught 33 passes for 500 yards — and will play against the LSU Tigers on Oct. 25. He ranks fourth in touchdowns and fifth in total yards per game in the SEC. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M’s winningest coach R.C. Slocum was named to the 2025 SEC Football Legends class and will be honored at the SEC Football Weekend of Champions in Atlanta from December 5 to December 6. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko was named to the midseason watch list for the Dodd Trophy after his team started 7-0 and 4-0 in SEC play—showing strong on-field performance. The Aggies will play LSU Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT as they aim to continue their winning streak. WTAW
