- ➤ Brazos County Commissioners approved an extra $25,000 on November 6 for the Brazos Valley Food Bank to cover gaps from suspended SNAP benefits amid the federal shutdown—304 households in the county are affected each day. WTAW
- ➤ The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday under the American Pavilion at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex. The Eagle
- ➤ Brazos County commissioners gave Brazos Valley Food Bank an extra $25,000 at a special meeting Thursday (to help meet increased demand from the federal government shutdown). The Eagle

- ➤ Texas A&M Athletics announced winners for its 2025 soccer team awards on Thursday. Trinity Buchanan earned Offensive MVP and Leading Scorer while Kat Campbell and Bella Yakel were named Midfield and Defensive MVPs—other winners include Riley Crooks, Leah Diaz, Reese Rupe, Eloise Descheneaux, Maysen Veronda, Lucy Landherr and Kennedy Clark.
