- ➤ The Bryan/College Station Salvation Army holds its 2025 holiday campaign at Blue Baker restaurant—starting November 14—with a kickoff that invites community members to adopt a child through the Angel Tree program and volunteer as a Red Kettle bell ringer. Angel Cookies will be available until November 16 while gifts for the Angel Tree can be dropped off until December 13. WTAW
- ➤ The Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley announced that its 7th Annual Brazos Valley Gives day on October 21 raised $1,561,033 from 4,800 donors to benefit 200 local nonprofits. A Celebration of Philanthropy event on November 13 at the James A. III Pavilion at the George Bush Library brought together over 350 community members—marking a historic milestone for the region. - ➤ Texas A and M regents created the Academic Review and Transparency Initiative to review every undergraduate course each semester across the system—this new process began with a test pilot at Tarleton State and a student reporting portal that launched mid-November.
