- ➤ The College Station Noon Lions Club opened its annual Christmas Tree fundraiser (November 26th) on Wednesday; the lot will reopen Friday and remain open through December while supplies last. The Eagle
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At the November 17 meeting, Bryan ISD school board members received an update on the education foundation that is bringing comfort dogs to three elementary schools. Kemp-Carver principal Alison Boggan said comfort dog June is a one-year-old black Labrador and noted that additional dogs Mochi at Neal and Rhys at Sul Ross will be introduced in December. WTAW

- ➤ Texas A&M men’s basketball set a Reed Arena record by scoring 120 points in a 120-84 win over Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday night to complete a four-game homestand—Jamie Vinson and Mackenzie Mgbako led key plays in the victory. WTAW
- ➤ On Tuesday, Texas A&M announced that six Aggies on the soccer team earned Academic All-District Team honors for their athletic and academic achievements. The recognized players include Trinity Buchanan, Kat Campbell, Kennedy Clark, Bella James, Hattie Patterson, and Bella Yakel — with Yakel earning the honor for the third time. WTAW
- ➤ Texas A&M women's basketball returned to the win column after a strong second half to beat Colorado 59-46 in the North Shore Showcase at Cannon Activities Center on Tuesday—Ny’Ceara Pryor led with 23 points and seven steals as the team forced 20 turnovers. WTAW
