- ➤ On Dec. 9, Bryan city council approved incentives — including city-owned land and tax breaks — for Axis Pipe and Tube’s $110 million expansion, which will add $4 million to its payroll annually. The company has 18 months to start construction and five years to complete the project. WTAW

- ➤ Texas A&M’s former president Mark Welsh was removed after regents and state leaders expressed concern over his approach to diversity and leadership amid mounting political pressure. - ➤ Texas A&M landed seven student-athletes on Dave Campbell’s Texas Football All-Texas College Team as part of its historic 2025 season, with several players also named to All-SEC teams. The Aggies will host Miami at Kyle Field on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. CT. WTAW
