- ➤ A 29-year-old Bryan man named Roy Arevalo Jr. was sentenced to 40 years in prison under a plea deal for eight crimes including drug delivery and evading arrest — he was caught after a high-speed chase in downtown Bryan with no reported injuries and must serve at least 20 years before parole. - ➤ Texas A&M Athletics said 105 student-athletes made the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll as SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announced Thursday—this is the first time since 2022 the team topped 100 honorees—and athletes from eight sports were honored. WTAW
